A tribute to the man and his music

Legacy Productions, a division of 62 World Entertainment, and Beatlegacy have "come together" to present:

" Lennon Legacy ", a musical 'Day in the Life' of John Lennon, from his earliest beginnings in the Quarrymen, to Hamburg, Germany and the Cavern Club, Beatlemania, and through Lennon's solo years.

The show features Beatlegacy's Dave Pal as John Lennon, along with the "Marmalade Skies" band, which includes many talented musicians who believe in carrying on the legacy of John's great music. Dave is a Lennon tribute artist/actor who has portrayed the former Beatle in over 200 shows, and has earned honors from Beatles festivals in both America and England.

You will hear over thirty Lennon classics, including "Come Together", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Across the Universe", "Imagine", "Instant Karma", "Woman", and so much more. Lennon's life is recreated through archival film footage, costume changes and instrumentaion reflecting the different musical periods of John's life.

The announcement was made in Lewisburg, Pa. at Bucknell University's Samek Art Gallery during the final weekend of Yoko Ono's "ImaginePeace" exhibit. "I'm excited and thrilled to bring even more of this kind of quality entertainment to audiences of all ages" said Dave Pal, founding member of Beatlegacy and executive producer of the new show. He added, "It's even more of an honor to break the news surrounded by the images and messages of peace from John and Yoko".

Beatlegacy is playing a fundraiser for QSAC on October 23, 2008 at Tavern on the Green in New York City. At noon the following day, Dave Pal will perform songs from, and discuss the new Lennon tribute show at the Imagine mosaic at Strawberry Fields in Central Park.
